I think this is both a true and great mantra with which to start the year....
Above is my favorite image of Plum Sykes. I wouldn't call her the greatest author of all times, but she does have her own style and a certain girlish quirkiness about her that I find inspiring. Her expression in the image displays kind of what I'm feeling right now, a confident uncertainty. And, her dress.... the lovely piece must be Oscar de la Renta? But, that is unconfirmed...
